Press Releases
A press release (PR) is used to promote a company or service via the media. The PR is supposed to be news - not advertising – therefore it has to be interesting and informative. Subject matters can include, but are not limited to:
- A new product
- An important speech which would interest the newspaper/magazine
- A well researched and expert opinion on a relevant subject
- An important event
- A charitable or any other event

Or alternatively and an easier method of publicising any of the above would be to have a feature in the format of a press release but sent as an e-mail attachment to everybody on your database: clients (old/new/existing), suppliers, friends, family…
